When Can We Call Excessive Bank Fees Fraud?

I recently got a very rude awakening about my bank and the fees they charge. This got me wondering why we accept being abused by our banks and their excessive fees? Especially when most of those fees only affect people with lower incomes!

Discussing My Visa Gift Card Problem

I recently got a Visa Gift Card as a gift the other day and I have to say that they are useless. You have to jump through a number of hoops before you can use the card. Even if you get it working it isn't actually a gift card - it's a credit card with a very low limit. That means once you spend the time to get the Visa Gift Card working the problem has only just began.

CanadianGenius Was Down for Two Days

Because of a momentary lapse of attention on my part, the CanadianGenius website was down for just over two days. It admittedly wasn't all my fault, but it did teach me a good lesson.

The first place to start is the fact that I am an actual genius. I am not just someone claiming to be one. I was officially tested and found to have a superior IQ. For me it doesn't mean a whole lot because it has done little for my life. Perhaps in the US where there's such things as Genius Grants it may be easier. However, for me it's best defined as a great gift wrapped inside a major burden.

CanadianGenius - Why I Started This Website

The main reason that I decided to create CanadianGenius is to do the following:

1. Help educate people (genius and non-genius alike) about what it really means to be a genius. A big part of this will involve dispelling the myths and stereotypes commonly associated with "genius". It will also include discussing the reality behind all the assumptions of what genius is about (such as that Genius isn't about "Intelligence" or being "Superior").
