Canadian Genius Website Updated

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Canadian Genius website has been updated a little bit. I changed the topic layouts so that they would be more usable. I made a section for the imported posts from www.FreeFromIssues.com so that they would be separate from the other posts. I also made it so any new posts that happen at Free From Issues will be automatically added here within an hour or two (instead of having to wait till I manually update them here). As a result of these changes, a number of posts have been moved and put into different sections. Sorry for any inconvenience that all of this may have caused; however, the website will now hopefully be a little more user friendly.

DevonK Now Platinum Expert Author On EzineArticles

Today there is cause for celebration as DevonK was awarded the title of Platinum Expert Author on EzineArticles.com. While this may not seem impressive to some, according to EzineArticles.com "This is a status that can not be bought and can only be earned... Only a small fraction of our thousands of authors ever obtain this level."

For those that don't know, EzineArticles.com is the premier article distribution site on the Internet. By becoming a Platinum Expert Article it's helps to set DevonK apart from the other authors on the site. Since it can't be bought and only earned by through quality work, it makes the credential something of actual value.

You may have noticed that there are a number of new posts with the author listed as "FreeFromIssues" and dates from the immediate past. These are posts that I have written for the website http://www.freefromissues.com that I am now going to be importing. Since they are my work, and I have been too busy there to write stuff here, it made sense to import them. If things work the way they are supposed to all the posts I write there will display here too (at least the intro). When I have more time I'll be sure to write unique posts here as well. I just need time to get Free From Issues setup fully.

Tao-Te-Chi.com Has Now Been Completely Overhauled

For those that don't know, CanadianGenius.com is part of the Tao-Te-Chi.com group of websites. What's more, all of the websites listed on Tao-Te-Chi.com are mine also. Tao-Te-Chi.com is ultimately a co-ordination website for my (DevonK) various websites, blogs, writings, and more.

Sorry for the lack of content in the last four months. I do have a few things to post which I will be doing very soon. However, because of too many things going on in my life (which I will be talking about shortly) I have been unable to write as I had hoped to. This obviously has had a major impact on my ability to add content to the blog.

Since our first child should be here in less than a month (due date June 4th 2010) I want to get back to writing. I want to be able to talk about baby and things connected to babies in general. I will still be writing about all the other things I plan to write about too. I'll just be adding baby topics as needed.

With all of that being said, if anyone has anything they would like me to talk about, just ask!

CanadianGenius and DevonK New Years Wishes

I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope that in 2010 things will be even better than 2009. In an effort to try and make a small contribution to having a better year, I wanted to remind everyone to live life to it's fullest. Don't waste your time trying to be something you're not - instead focus your attention on developing what you are. It's also very important to feed your creativity from time to time. Don't be afraid to add some artistic flair to things once in awhile. Not only will it help to make life a little brighter, it may also lead you to discovering new things about yourself (always a good thing - even when it may not feel so good in the moment).

As I'm very fond of saying "Life is what you make of it - so why not making it amazing?"
